P-tert-butyl benzoic acid (PTBA) is a colorless needle-like crystal or crystalline powder. It is a derivative of benzoic acid and is an important organic synthesis intermediate. Its main uses are as follows: (1) Used for the production of alkyd resins 
Improver; (2) Used as a cutting oil and lubricant additive; (3) Used as a polypropylene nucleating agent; (4) Its barium salt, sodium salt, zinc salt, etc. can be used as a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride;
